Poetry: Men

Your touch is like fire,
Your kiss is like toxic waste.
Everything that you touch dissolves into space.

Ripping, twisting, and shattering the fairest soul.
White knights are a bitter memory.
You spit filth into the minds of young.
This is their kind since day one.

Addicting like poison running through the veins
With each ink stain upon paper I reject your poison.
The needle’s gone, and there’s no blood to be spilled.
You’ve spent me.
I’m free.

That’s not enough?
You want to see a heart oozing in your hands?
In your hands I place it willingly.
It pours no more.

A withered soul inside a hallowed body.
It spills from my essence and into your body.
I stand lifelessly as a shadowed form vanishes.

Each knight arrives one by one.
Hoping to pick up pieces from the last farewell.
Alas, some pieces were scattered and some kept prisoner of their creators.
An unsolvable jigsaw is all that remains.
