Dessert Cove is a neighborhood in Mesa, Arizona. It is a gated community that offers a quiet and secure area to live less than ten miles to the east of downtown. This is a purely residential neighborhood with wide streets and sidewalks. Palm trees sway in the breeze. Most of the homes were constructed in the 2000’s and are in contemporary or Spanish styles. Many are ranch style but others are split level.  There is an HOA and there are quarterly assessments. Home prices are very affordable currently running from about $80,000 to $115,000.

Parents in the neighborhood have lots of great choices when it comes to what school their children will attend. Franklin Northeast School is located less than a mile away and has received  a  GreatSchools  distinguished 9/10 performance rating. These ratings are based on results from standardized state tests. Parents and students have awarded it a 5/5community rating. The school offers classes from K-8. Fremont Valley Jr. High School and  East Valley High School are both just over a mile away.

There are a wide selection of grocery stores located less than a mile away from the neighborhood including Fry’s, Albertsons and Safeway.

Superstition Springs Center  is a great mall just a short drive away. Not only do they have great stores and restaurants including Dillard’s, Sears, JC Penney, Macy’s and the Cheesecake Factory but there is also The Picture Show at Superstition Springs that offers affordable movies the whole family can enjoy.

Banner Baywood Medical Center is a full service hospital located just a short drive away from this neighborhood. It provides residents with peace of mind knowing that there are emergency services so close by. They are the East Valleys only primary stroke care center  and they have earned National best Hospital ranking.

Jefferson Park is just a couple of miles away from this community. It is a large park of over 16 acres and has lots of amenities. There is a lighted basketball court, a lighted softball field, a horseshoe pit, a sand volleyball court, a playground, a gymnasium and recreation center and an on-leash dog area. There are also ramadas, some that are first come,  first serve and some that are rentable. The park also has plenty of open space and trees.

There are also several golf courses within just a short drive of the Desert Cove neighborhood.

If you are looking for a safe place that is convenient to downtown and offers well priced homes with lots of amenities, Desert Cove is a great place to look for a home.
