Warriors, yearning for a legacy
Trying to make their own
Through the clinging of swords
And the breaking of bone
Traversing the mountains
Conquering many a road
Accompanied by an old friend
The warrior’s code
Searching for something
That is rarely found
A place in legends
With praise, crowned
Strongly believing in a panorama
To hard to frame
Deeds worthy of recognition
Immortality in name
For millions fought for this
And out of millions few arose
The best of the best
Tenacious heroes

Poetry: Warriors
by Chey
In the memories of some
he seems a simple fleck of dust in the past
He's different
he stands out from the others.

Rose Warrior
On a battle field of flowers
I am a rose amongst many
Fighting a war of survival
Weeds will march upon my ground

Eagle Warrior
Open sky swirls in Mayan Blue,
Calls spirits clothed in golden hue.
Shifting currents of sing-song breeze,

Whispering in the ever present dusk
My pale skin shines like crystal in the soft starlight
Silky hair glows smooth as glass
A warrior...
To fight for what is just and true.
A warrior...
To stand as a hero among the people.
A warrior...
To face death
