The rain stopped, the clouds past.
The bright warm sun came shinning through,
the intense energy was everywhere.
The happiness felt as if it would forever last.
The taste, the touch and the smells multiplied by thousands.
Every little thing was as magical as a dream.
Then all of a sudden without a word or clue,
not the slightest signal that a shift was coming.
The sun disappears, the clouds roll in, rapidly turning darker
while expanding in the sky.
A veil falls over dark as midnight, you hear the thunder,
feel the lightning striking your heart.
The first drop splashes on your face,
in that very instant the magic the dream has vanished.
In the moments before you were happy, your soul was free and soaring.
Then you realize that moment of happiness was just an illusion.
The magical sun and warmth feeling it brought didn't make the happiness, for it has always been there.
You start to realize that the cool air and rain drops feel good.
The rain is not only rejuvenating the earth but your soul as well.
For it wasn't the situation that made you happy.
The realization that you can make yourself happy in any situation that arises
is the greatest magic of all.

Poetry: Lost & found
Lost and Found
Once while lost, I dreamed of an innocent man,
Who was beaten and spit upon and shamed,
He was forbidden
Had been lost before found
You thought you were bound
When you had been immured
Beguiled, bereaved and allured
Gasping for
by Saint Fang
I've lost myself.
I remember being here, knowing myself. I remember dreaming. Dreams of never leaving the town I call home,
Lost & found
What was lost is now found
Deep, deep in the ground
We dug and dug
Now it is in the light of day
We wish we
Echoes of a silenced soul
bouncing far and wide
Left behind, an empty shell
afloat
lost on a tide
Drifting in and out of shore
