Mom We Need You
She plays on the laptop
or listens to the IPOD
Wait a minute
Too much drama
Now she's answering her cell phone
She tells everyone to "WAIT"
Because she has an important
voicemail message she is waiting for
"OH NO", she announces there's going to be a thunderstorm
tonight. Better close all of the windows
NOW. Too much drama
Back to the computer she goes
for more updates on the
latest event in the United States.
She forgets one thing.....
she has children who are
calling to her for help
Longing for her attention
Begging her to be a mom to them
She is lost in her own drama...
It's too late to teach her now
that technology doesn't
give kids the love they need
She lives her life in drama
Addicted to technology
Too much drama

Churn out
The voters

Only want
A decent meal
In front of
The television
Meals are burnt

Wait.
Thoughts.
They come and they go.
I wish some would stay with me.
That is why I write these.
I will remember my words when
