I want to ride a bike!
You're too young.
I want to go to school!
Not yet, you're too young.
I want to go hang out with my friends!
No way Jose, you're not old enough yet.
I want to drive!
Nope, you can't get your permit for 5 more months!
I want to stay out all night!
Ain't gonna happen, you have a curfew!
I'm leaving, I'm 18 and I can GO!
But age is just a number.
Yeah the number of freedom.
SLAM!
........crap.

Poetry: Age is just a number
She tells me age is just a number
But still I try to guess her age,
Combinations with eights and fours,
Smiles and tears
Age is just a number
Used to stop us doing this and that
What difference does it make
If you still feel the same?
Long
Life
is a revolving door.
Each rotation of a year
an opening and closing,
by Moeze Lalji
Age is just
A number
We all cuddle
On earth
The soul is full
Of disco and party
An eternal rock star
Like Elvis the King
White
I turn the pages of the album
And sigh at the familiar young stranger
Who stares back at me
I trace the shape of the cheek
Flawless
