I see blackened trees, the sky’s turned red,
As I look all around me everything’s dead,
What in Gods name have the Human Race done,
There were millions of life forms now there are none.
Slowly but surely over thousands of years,
Your actions have brought me nothing but tears,
Intelligence I thought would prolong all life,
Has cut through my planet like a red-hot knife.
As you evolved I thought you would learn,
That all life is precious you must show it concern,
But you did the opposite your minds have wandered,
For material wealth my riches you’ve squandered.
Continuity of life through procreation,
Survival of species throughout every nation,
Enough food and water for you all to survive,
Everything you needed just to stay alive.
But you chose Diamonds, Gold and Oil,
Money over matter and greed over soil,
Now you have nothing but poisonous seas,
A dying planet which you refused to appease.
Wars and disputes will be how you are judged,
The issue of starvation is another you have fudged,
I’m alright Jack is the way you have acted,
By ignoring the warnings your planet’s reacted.
You invent awesome power which you cannot control,
When it goes wrong it creates a Hells hole,
Did you heed the warnings I would have to say never,
If truth be told you’re not really clever.
Armageddon awaits the next Nuclear explosion,
What we are witnessing is Earths final erosion,
As Earthquakes and Tsunamis destroy life all around,
Everywhere you’ve been there’s no hope to be found.
Inside there is nothing but a red burning Hell,
Outside is similar to a blackened glazed shell,
Red clouds above filled with toxic mass,
An atmosphere polluted with thick poisonous gas.
Of destruction you are truly the ultimate masters,
Even nature would struggle to inflict such disasters,
But you have succeeded where others have failed,
All life’s last breath has finally been inhaled.
It’s a terrible tragedy but it’s what you deserved,
Contempt was your master from reality you’ve swerved,
You’ve destroyed Planet Earth now I’ll watch it die,
You’ve destroyed my world,
In The Blink Of An Eye

On our marks, get set, and we're out of the gate
The human race has begun to hurry up and wait
Round in circles, sometimes
