Life is a highway, fast lanes and slow.
Gets kind of crazy when you're out here alone.
Speed limits change and detours ahead,
places to exit, fuel up and be fed.
Breakdowns and rescues,yells and smiles.
Life is a highway, settle in for the miles.

On this long stretch of highway,
driving through the day into the night,
cruising around the curves in the

Pebbly surface that sings beneath us,
Curves that wind lazily around
The hills and forests of
Drive
Did you ever drive at night
faster than your lights,
foot down and dims on so that by the time
something is seen,

Life is a highway, I’m standing alone,
Waiting for someone to take me home,
A car, a bus, a van is passing by,
No one

Always carry a map
For you never know
When you'll meet some sap
And upset the flow
