The Visitor
I can tell that you must know me
For I see it in your face
So perhaps then you can tell me
Why they've put me in this place?
For there was a time I'm certain
When I figured in your life
Perhaps you are my sister
Or maybe you're my wife
And I know that I must love you
Though I'm not quite certain why
But I'm glad you've come to see me
Oh please don't start co cry
Please hold my hand I beg you
While I struggle for your name
For the rules can 'oft be cruel
In life's uncertain game
Now I see you must be going
Will you have to travel far?
Perhaps when you next visit
I'll remember who you are
