Married life: How alone time can benefit your relationship

Why is it that no matter how mad at my husband I am, as soon as he walks out the door, I wish he were back home?

Absence makes the heart grow fonder. . . it's true!

Spending every waking moment with someone will only begin to exaggerate flaws, cause annoyance, and will eventually ruin the conversation exchange between you, and I firmly believe that conversation will make or ruin a relationship.

Spending time apart will make you long for the good things and forget the bad. Now this isn't really the right approach if the relationship just isn't working and there is too much bad.

Another good thing about spending time apart is that you experience different things which gives you something to talk to each other about.

Everyone needs time to themselves to do the things that they like and to just get some alone time. I think this is very important for any relationship, however, too much time apart can have a harmful effect. Finding the right balance is the key and it will be a great boost to your relationship.
