Alabaster of Praise

If an angel hears
All my tears
Then surly
You can hear them
Amongst all the cries of the earth
Touching hearts
Like no other
Providing comfort
To those with unsettling conscience
Gently moving
In the souls
Dry and barren vessels
Giving hope to the
Restless minds
Those unforgiving souls
With nothing left to give
You place Your unwavering hand upon them
Drawing them closer
Just enough to feel
Your Almighty mercy
Putting grace
Inside their deliverance
Watching them
Rise once again
After that fall
And reign in them
The blessings of a lifetime
If angels can see me hurting
Then surly You can embrace me
Loving me tenderly
As if a fallen star
Still deserves another chance living
So many children
But you have time for each special one
Ensuring greatness be with them all
Understanding their trials
Patiently close by
For Your prodigal
Looming
Like the shadows
But shining
Like the very light you created
Anointed Your precious gems
Through you flowing blood
Healing their bodies
Freeing their souls
They find the will
To dance in Your fervor
And bow humbly
As their strength
Only comes from You
If angels have heard my praise
Then surly you have given me victory!
