I’m definitely getting too old for this,
My younger years I sure do miss.
Where did all my youthfulness go?
It seems my spunk’s begun to slow.
I’m getting too old for this,
I still remember my first kiss.
Now I can’t even pucker my lips,
Or dance and sway with my hips.
I use to run from here to there,
Now I bathe in a shower chair.
This has happened to my dismay,
My hair has turned a shade of grey.
To feel again my younger bliss,
Feeling young I have long miss.
I wish I wasn’t getting too old for this.
