The Home of Cranberries
Cranberries are native to North America and grow on long woody vines that have sweet pinkish white blossoms and green oval shaped leaves that resemble low ground bushes. After the cranberries are harvested, they are sorted and used to make white cranberry juices, red cranberry juices, jellies, sauces, pies, herbal teas, supplements and dried fruits. On some occasions, fresh cranberries are rinsed with water and simply placed in freezer bags and stored away in the freezer until they are ready to be cooked down into sauces or jams.
