In a breeze filled forest the deer showed the white of its tail. A rabbit hopped by and sat below an evergreen. Hans took the twig that almost tripped his step from the ground. He held it in his hand.
Hans wondered what was beyond the trees. Up above a bed of evergreens the birds flew and the clouds passed in a slow parade across the sun. Up in the heavens there was light. Hans went to his imagination to find God on a throne with majestic lions on each side of Him. Hans fell to his knees and rooted his hands in the ground to fight the urge to settle his fate.
With the reality of beautiful leaves turning orange, yellow, and brown he knew something was right. The evergreen stood tall and Hans went beyond again. He saw himself on his knees before the throne with lions in heaven. A warmth came over his body. He looked above him and the sun was shining through the leaves of trees.
A rabbit sat at his toes and twitched its nose. Hans desired to touch the fur and hold it in his arms but knew the rabbit would quickly hop away. A feeling of freedom passed through Hans as he saw a clove in the tree.
Dove made as down was soft to the touch but he kindly left the dove alone. Hans did not want God to leave him alone. He looked to the clouds through the canopy of leaves and a gentle ray of light touched him. The ray was beyond the trees and from the throne of God.
Hans fell to the ground again to see the soil was below. He may not soar like an eagle or give signs like a siegle but he did know what lied before him was no lie.
Beyond the trees was the amazing part of it. A small crown laid as an image of light from the throne. Hans bowed at the crown cupped in his hand to only have it disappear. To the ground and in the heavens leaves rustled a fine tune in Hans’ ear. The crown he held was majesty.
What is beyond the tree was worship to God for the nature he did behold., The sun shown to him and he valued its warmth as he was rare gold. For the birds above started letting out sound very bold. The majestic lions at the throne of God let out their wild roar.
God showed Hans silence.
For it is the throne of God that allowed Hans to see the sun as rare gold again. He was humbled beyond the trees and stood in solitude. For all the nature he could behold and not hold beheld him. Nothing fell upon Hans. He closed his eyes to know a touch of nature was to touch the trees leaves and dirt but no creature was he to hold. For the creatures were divine and taught a lesson to be told.
Though the desire of Hans was to comfort the rabbit or to come back in the winter with his coat so soft to the touch with down. Hans knew nature would forever behold him and the creatures out there were his web of life.
Such was a coat made of down and a rabbit foot he has touched so soft. For he did not hunt but relied on those that did. The trees were below and God was above. He was connected but only knew of God’s love. What can be seen and not touched but relied upon sentiments such as the meat he would go home and have on the table.
For what Hans adored and could not hold was his wife. He would . He would go home to his wife and know creatures taught him respect and her softness and touch would be a stronger thing to behold. For she was his rare and fine gold to forever behold
