Too often when one speaks of love,
In other words are the intentions.
There are often various meanings,
More than words are the intentions.
When a young man says I love you,
In a heated and romantic twist,
His words are less about marriage,
And more for a passionate tryst.

Poetry: In other words
In other words, I’m like a spinning clock,
With no end in sight, no way to stop.
A whirl wind of thought, I can not
When I say, “Fine!”
That means let it go.
We are done talking about it,
Don’t you get it, don't you know?
"The stars are in your eyes"
In other words “I like you.”
"Your skin is warm"
In other words “I need you.”
I wish that you had said the things you meant,
Instead of choosing other words to hide,
Dishonest words which hid their real
by Hanna Joseff
Velvet gloves, taupe sky
Bind with words, shoe laces untie
Reminiscent mower feel
Dilapidated empathy
Sometimes at a loss
