Illegal immigrants should never receive any benefits in the USA. Hard working Americans should not have to foot the bill for someone who by the act of crossing the border illegally, has started their first moment on our soil with breaking our laws. America should never reward law-breakers with any perks. The sad truth is, the Democratic party not only assists these law-breakers, but rewards them with more handouts and programs than the taxpayers footing the bill.

With state budgets operating in the red, it is appalling that the lawmakers continue to dole out the incentives for illegals. It has been a fight for one lawmaker in Massachusetts to get the actual figures on what it is costing Massachusetts taxpayers for the Democratic handouts to illegals. After a very long wait, Gov. Patrick finally released the figures on what it is costing for illegals in taxpayer funded healthcare and the amount is staggering. Over $90 million dollars was spent just last year and that is only medical costs. Gov. Patrick is still dragging his feet on the whopper of a bill paid in welfare programs. With over $9 billion paid out in state welfare programs, the taxpayers are waiting and ready for the staggering costs of illegal aliens to be made public. Some estimates are over $2 billion.

There have been many crimes committed in Massachusetts by illegals, but few are prosecuted. Illegals know before they commit the first crime of crossing the border, just which states will harbor them in spite of the crimes they commit and which will shower them with everything from free healthcare, to housing, welfare payments, cars, phones and the list goes on. It is a slap in the face to every law- abiding citizen to have their hard earned money tossed away like this. It is also an insult for all legal immigrants who follow our laws from moment one and want nothing more than to contribute to our society.

When many of the illegal families come to Massachusetts they get their wife to apply for welfare and as the perks roll in, the husband works under the table. The illegals don't even pay taxes when they are sucking off the system that is set up to help our citizens. Recently I heard a woman complaining that she was concerned over her heating bills this winter. She'd found out that it was doubtful that she would qualify for fuel assistance because of the growing number of illegals ushered to the front of the line. With all of the seniors in need of protection from our harsh winters, it is unconscionable for them to be left out in the cold because of the flood of illegals given preferential treatment over legal residents. 

For these reasons it is clear that illegal aliens should never receive government benefits.
