Web Hosting is very helpful when wanting to display a website accessible from anywhere else on the planet. Naturally, you would want to find a way to find free webhosting. There are several options.

Fi rst of all, I am a Web Designer, fluent in HTML, Javascript, PHP, DHTML, XML, AJAX, and know a little bit of everything else. I say this to let you know that I know what I am talking about.

Geocities:
For the average person who wants to make a website for fun, geocities is for you. It is designed for the amateurish, unprofessional website. Although fairly easy to use and get the hang of, Geocities has several ads and the URL starts with www.geocities.yahoo.com. Overall, I recommend it for a personal website.

AngelFire:
I will tell you upfront, do NOT use AngelFire. It has a very confusing and hard to use interface and is not an effective web host.

Dot.TK:
This is my favorite of them all. With Dot.TK, you can create a website, and have the URL as www.MYURLHERE.tk. For the professionals who don't want to pay a cent for a domain name, use this. I personally use it to showcase my websites that I make as a portfolio, but it can be used for virtually anything. I recommend this for those of you who are looking in a professional direction. It can be used for personal uses, but I would tell you to look in a more business direction on this one.

So as you can see, these three Web Hosting sites are quite diverse. Each can be used for different purposes, although AngelFire is a waste of time altogether.
