Penrose is a neighborhood that is located in the city of St. Louis in the state of Missouri. Penrose lies on the north side of the city. Interstate 70 provides easy access to this community. O'Fallon Park is located nearby. The lovely Penrose neighborhood spans an area of 0.083 square miles and has a population of about 55. The transportation system that serves the area consists of roads, streets, avenues, boulevards and a railroad. The St. Louis Children's Hospital is located in this neighborhood. This hospital is known to be one of the best children's hospitals in the United States. It ranks as one of the top in the state of Missouri. Events take place in this community throughout the year. One exciting event is the National Night Out. This event is about preventing crimes in the neighborhood and allows neighbors to meet each other. It always draws a large crowd.

Penrose lies at an elevation of 479 feet above sea level. Nearby cities are Goodfellow Terrace, Baden, Hillsdale, Uplands Park, Pine Lawn, Velda Village Hills, Arbor Terrace, Velda village, Northwoods and Jennings. Nearby neighborhoods that are located less than four miles away are O'Fallon, Mark Twain, Near North Riverfront, Wells-Goodfellow, Walnut Park East, Kingsway East, Kingsway West, Greater Ville and College Hill. Many great restaurants are located in the area and they serve a variety of cuisines. Taxis and shuttle services also serve the area. That makes it easier for visitors to tour the neighborhood. Bars, clubs, lounges and pubs make the nightlife exciting here. This neighborhood has so much to offer and it has a lot of activities for visitors to enjoy. People always have a nice time when they come to visit.

This is a nice neighborhood for kids. There are about eight youth organizations that serve the area. One of the organizations is the YMCA. They provide many activities for kids to enjoy. This is a great neighborhood for relocating a home or business. The local people of this community are very friendly. Area churches are welcoming to residents and visitors. There are car rental services in this area that make it easy for visitors to tour the area. Hotels that are located nearby offer excellent services and provide maps and driving directions to visitors. Many of these hotels have meeting rooms and banquet facilities that are excellent for business meetings and conventions. They are also perfect for family gatherings.
