5 Ways to Celebrate your 21st Birthday

Trying to decide what to do for your 21st birthday is a dilemma many are faced with.  How do you want to celebrate it? Where to go? Who will you spend it with? How much money do you want to spend? These are all the questions that arise but one sure issue is that you want to ensure you and your guests enjoy yourselves. A great celebration always includes drinks, food, and music and loved ones.  Here are five ways that you can celebrate your birthday all while maintaining a manageable budget as well as having a ton of fun.

One way you can celebrate is by planning a party at home. Planning parties at home allows you to stay within budget. You can purchase alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages from a wholesaler in your local neighborhood. Find a way to provide food to your guests at low cost by creating small finger food dishes that require ingredients that you already have. Purchase decorations (if desired) from your local department stores i.e. Target, Kmart, Wal-Mart to get more for your buck. For music, you can connect your IPod, MP3 player or any other music devices to speakers. Also, to invite party guest you can use any social site you may be registered to such as Facebook, MySpace, Twitter that allows you to create events or send out mass emails or text messages to your friends and family.

Another way you can celebrate is by doing something that you always have desired to do. Seek some new adventure or fun such as sky-diving, race car driving, horseback riding or paintball games. Also arts and crafts projects, pottery classes, art class, and poetry night at your local bar. You can invite from small groups of 3 to 5 up to larger groups of 7 to 15. This allows you to tap into your inner self, while stepping into a new stage of your life. Many of these activities can be found locally limiting the amount of money you spend on transportation.

Some other ideas include planning a short period vacation such as 3 day cruises, weekend getaways at resorts and ski- lodges. Your vacation would be determined by the season in which your birthday is. Alongside season, you have to concern yourself with work or school schedule. You may want to look into finding discount websites such as Expedia, Bing, JetBlue and other vacation price providers who allow you find the best time to save money. You can save a bunch of money, especially on last minute booking. This way you can have the vacation
