I hear nothing. I see nothing. Living 100 feet from a freight train track in a downtown area of a city with much street parking I was serenaded by a cataclysmic symphony of car alarms through all days and nights. And then with time one hopes that indeed the car with resounding car alarm in question is indeed being stolen effectively eliminating the offensive noise. With time one discovers they can walk by any such alarm and not be bothered enough even to look in the direction of the offender. Folks, these inventions will not keep your car from being broken into or stolen. They will alienate the hell out of your neighbors though.

Save your money. Buy one of those long wheel locks for 20 or 30 bucks. You can install it yourself. An auto thief only need glance in the window and see the lock and moves on. Here's another idea, disconnect the alarm, that bright red light on the alarms box inside your car will still blink. I bought a used car the alarm didn't work, the blinking red light did. No problems.
