Two nickels make a dime divine,
Two souls entwined- a ten.
Together, stronger change is made,
Spare nickels make less cents.
A dime is fine, much lighter than
Two nickels spent alone.
They find their grooves, now much more smooth,
Their substance- strong as stone.
And five plus five becomes alive,
When two make sweet exchange.
They trade their big, thick-headed ways,
For shine no longer strange.
A dime combines two nickels lost,
Once tossed about spare change.
Two work the sum, increase as one,
Love's found in what remains.
