My angel is headless
But tall she does stand
Criss-crosses of purple
And wax in her hand
A soft glow above her
Spun glass for her wings
Dust on her shoulders
Nerves bounded with string
Her shadow is hallow
Her skin hides no tale
The noon cannot touch her
The night melts to pale

Poetry: An angel's wings
Falling into a deep pit of darkness
Never to see the light of day again
I took the prescriptions I had with me
To end
With One Angel Wing
With one angel wing, an angel stands
Ever awaiting the Lord's commands.
Angels, with two wings, can fly
My angel is headless
But tall she does stand
Criss-crosses of purple
And wax in her hand
A soft glow above her
Spun glass for
I'm the girl with the broken wing,
that was kept in a cage
so they could hear me sing.
I'm the girl that they locked up tight,
An Angel's Wings of
iridescent greens and blues
Shine to heaven with beautiful hues
to tell the lord their watching out
