Magick is all about our inner spirit knowing its own magick. Any wand or tool for the use of magick must come from within. It is a personal journey of finding what seems to work or resonate with your own spirit in the tool of use.
The rod you choose to begin with can come from nature, as in a tree branch. It an also be something that you can use to add all the magick of your own making. The secret is in choosing what you feel drawn to that will work in your own magick practices.
As each piece is chosen, give it a blessing. The use of a magick wand is to create a spirit atmosphere for blessing all who come into its sphere.
Bringing the wand its power is in the choice of the minerals or stones that are chosen to work on the wand. Draw the power of these minerals through cleansing and blessing their use. Do not mix negative and positive energies when choosing or adding to the rod.
You can solder pieces onto a metal rod. You can mount or glue them to a strong bow or branch. The method isn't as important as the blessing of its use for the purposes intended. Keeping it for the spirit is the important aspect here.
A special pointed mineral or star shaped one are good to put on the end to draw people and energies around the wand. It can point out the way when Mick is believed and used for good.
A magick wand can have a theme. Using the minerals or stones that are the color. energies and uses of each of the chakras can help in the work you do with that particular approach.
Choose each stone for its appeal. The base color of red in the chakras can be found in many minerals. You must choose which one resonates with your efforts on the wand.
Mount it at the base of the wand. This, too can be a pointed or star shaped stone to ground the energies.
Then work with orange, yellow, orange, turquoise/blue, purple, and white at the top. As they are your personal choice, you have made the wand your own by personal preference of stones. shapes and sizes.
As you have blessed each piece and asked for guidance on choosing it, now the wand as whole can be blessed to doing spirit work in love and light.
