First they said, “We've got to be good to children because they're our future.”

I was a child but they hated me and punished me for retaliating against bullies

They didn't punish the bullies

Then they said, “The Holocaust was dreadful, we should be nice to Jews.”

I didn't hate Jews but they still hated me because I just look Jewish and have a Jewish sounding name

Then they said, “Let's be nice to people who are different and try to understand them.”

I agreed with that as I'm different but they still hated me because I was the wrong sort of different

Then they said, “We must be nice to homosexuals,

Because the government has no place in people's bedrooms.”

So the homosexuals left their bedrooms, marched down the high street and persecuted Christians

But they didn't persecute followers of other anti-gay religions because they were “other”

I don't hate homosexuals but they still hated me and were uncomfortable with my sexuality,

Because I'm heterosexual and believe the Bible

Then they said, “Let's be nice to convicts and help them get jobs.”

I could rather see two sides of that and they still hated me and wouldn't give me a job,

Because I don't have a criminal record

Then they said, “Let's be nice to atheists, get rid of the Christian symbols that may
