And returned her gaze with a laughing smile
Not really knowing the reason why
He stood there waiting for a while
Across the room she came his way

He wanted to be with her both day and night
He kept his vows for the rest of his life
In sickness, in heath, for richer or poorer
"I'll never stop loving you," he promised his wife
For it was really true love the moment he saw her

Whispering to me as you stroke my hair
Feeling your love, knowing
