Love and marriage, an approach
Drawn close by belief and trust
In a new beginning bond as one
To share life's entirety together.
Love and marriage, pursues
An ever entwined persuasion
Heralding lives toward expected
Happiness lasting ever after.
Love embellishes hopeful hearts
Fashionably awaiting betrothal.
Marriage kindles recurring dreams
Desirous of love's fateful seal.
Marriage, is love's truth of honor
Love, is marriage's promise to stay.
Time holds dedication's longevity.
Commitment binds oneness span.

Poetry: Love and marriage
We have fallen into the "old routine" again
I know you can feel it, too
My womanly qualities have diminished
As I now feel
by Scott Scherr
Two souls entwined
A tangled mess.
Wound up so tight
Insane with bliss.
A cord so strong
Became a noose.
Until we traded
Illusion for
I see your face,
You call my name,
All my senses,
Go insane.
A passionate kiss,
Your scent provokes,
A gasp, a sigh,
Love uncloaks.

One thought says
Marriage must
Have love
To stay together
Yet the love
We talk about
Is not as defined
By the media
The love of
Normal
