What is this -
Knocking on your door,
Peeking around corners to find you -
This feeling welling up inside of me
Like I want to burst...
Why does a single glance from you
Fill me with such anger?
Can't you see I live to hate you,
Live to call you out?
Don't act like you can't feel it, that
I can't wait until you slip up
Can't wait to knock you

Poetry: I can't wait
It's the journey,
(leaving now..so!
arriving when?..ever),
where the middle counts.
But not this journey.
Leaving, glad and easy.

I can’t wait ‘til you’re home again.
And free from the terrible war.
We’ll then be together forever,
What is this -
Knocking on your door,
Peeking around corners to find you -
This feeling welling up inside of me
Like I want
This beating in my heart is a first
I cannot wait to see him again
To know his warmth
To know his tender face
To know the touch
I’m here in my room, missing you
We may be miles apart
But I’m still here thinking about you
Your soft lips pressing
