Helium continues to attract more and more publishing partners through the Marketplace program, while providing higher payouts to Helium writers. Keep checking Marketplace for new titles and partners. Publishers set the pay rates, and compete against each other to attract our quality writers. This helps our writers earn more! Currently, publishers are offering Helium writers $16-$149 for individual articles they select. Writers receive direct payments, plus earn on their Helium articles. They win dual publication bylines, which enhances writing portfolios. Marketplace like Helium.com in general is on the rise!

By early August 2007, approximately 95 Helium writers earned $1,684.90 (total earnings). Seven active publishers are currently offering 227 distinct titles on the site.

Check out the new publishers joining Marketplace:

* The Auspicious Concierge covers the world of travel, vacation-planning, resort and hotel reviews. This publisher is challenging Helium's writers with a first set of titles focused on winter vacation sites. So, think snow in the August heat!

* Gimundo is a daily online publication highlighting positive news that informs and entertains. They will ask for a wide range of subjects, with this first batch of titles featuring health and environmental topics. Focus on the "bright side of life!"

* SpoilSpot offers a wide variety of pet-related topics. Dog enthusiasts will enjoy the current titles. Animal lovers hear the call!

* Jolly Jo covers topics from education, to business and entertainment.

* Karaoke Addiction Magazine encourages that music star hidden in all of us.

* SDHR Creations specializes in job seekers, encouraging personal memoirs from active, unemployed and underemployed workers.

* Greenprints publishes gardener stories and tips. Calling all green thumbs!

* Global Publishing Central provides assistance to consumers, with advice and tips for products and services.

How it works:

Publishers submit articles to Helium on topics of interest to them. When enough articles accumulate, the publisher compares the articles written by Helium's writers. The higher you rank, the better your chance to be chosen by our partners. However, the publishing partners reserve the right to select the content that works best for them. It is also possible that no article will be selected.

Once your article has been selected, you will be notified by Helium, and the article fee will appear within two weeks of selection in your PayPal account, as a Helium deposit. Some publishers
