In the bible there are many different meanings for names given. The meaning of names can be derived from as many as two or three letters. Here are a few examples. GOD is known as the "I AM".

Exodus 3:14 And God said to Moses, I AM THAT I AM; and He said, You shall say this to the sons of Israel, I AM has sent me to you.

Note the meaning of Immanuel. It means God is with us. "I AM" is found within the name. The same applies to the name Abimael which has the same letters that form "I AM". Note also the name Abednego which means servant of Nebo. Notice that the letters that form Nebo are found within the name. a B E d N e g O

Means "God is with us" in Hebrew. This was the foretold name of the Messiah in the Old Testament.

The same principle can be applied to names or words given in the bible. Words, names, or phrases can mean various things. You can prove your research to be accurate by the way they correspond to the scriptures you are finding application for.

The number 666 is such a huge topic of conversation, and everyone wants to know the meaning of it. The dragon gives authority to the beast with the number 666 so it is important to know the meaning of dragon. Other numbers derived from 666 are 18 when added across (6+6+6+=18) and 216 when multiplied (6x6x6=216) and the number 9 from 18(1+8=9) and (2+1+6=9). The number 9 is the furthest it can be broken down to as a single digit. These are all numbers found in the bible (bible numerics).

The word dragon is used to describe Satan the devil. Dragon and serpent are somewhat interchangeable but both have its own meaning. Which other words can be derived from either or?

DRAGON
1. a mythical monster generally represented as a huge, winged reptile with crested head and enormous claws and teeth, and often spouting fire.
2. Archaic. a huge serpent or snake.

SERPENT
1. a snake.

SERPENTINE
1. of, characteristic of, or resembling a serpent, as in form or movement.

At minimum, there are two additional words that can be derived from the words dragon and serpent. Do they have application to the scripture? Other key words to look for are fire, wings, and tail, since a dragon is described as having them. Two words that have reference to fire is "argon" which is used in fire extinguishers,
