Choosing & using your crystals to heal

Crystal therapy involves the use of precious & semi precious stones. These stones hold positive energy and act as a conduit for healing from the practitioner to the recipient. The stones also generate a healing vibration that heals on all levels, physical,spiritual,mental, emotional . A stone can be placed on the part of the body you would like to heal. A stone can also be placed on acupressure points. Generally therapists use quartz for physical healing amethyst for spiritual healing and rose quartz for emotional issues.There are manu other crystals which carry a very specific healing vibration .They can pin-point complex healing issues & bring about healing & balance

Using intuition to choose your crystals

I think the very best way to choose crystals for yourself is to use the intuitive method .You are using inner knowledge and guidance. I also believe that on some level your body is telling you which vibrational energy it requires by magnetically drawing you to particular stones. Practice and you will begin to trust this knowledge.

Most shops selling crystals will display then in open trays.
Place your hand (palm open ,facing downwards) over the crystals, a few cms above is fine.
Hold your hand there for a few seconds, then slowly move your palm over to the next type of crystal on display. You are scanning with your hand.
Notice changes in energy or sensations in your palm such as tingling, pulsing .It may be a feeling you cannot explain in words.
Does your hand seem to gravitate to a particular stone?
Pick up the stone, how do you feel, do you want to take it home or put it back down ? Do as your instinct tells you !
You can also gaze at the stones and make your choice based on your visual senses. Is there a particular colour of stone that attracts your attention ?

These methods are all completely reliable ways to select crystals, particularly for self healing. Eventually you could develop the ability to use this method to choose stones for other people.
Tumbled or polished stones are absolutely fine .They cost less than specially cut stones. I think rough natural stones are the best choice. Consider what you plan to do with them when you choose the shape and size.
Flat stones or stones with a flat base are good for laying on the body because they are more likely to stay in place. The stones you choose do not need to be especially large ,expensive or fancy.
