Salvation is the belief that God, as defined in the Christian's Holy Bible, will save us from eternal death and Hell. If we have secured salvation, then we will not have to suffer the atrocities of Hell. With salvation, God has granted us entrance into Heaven. It is a beautiful concept; one that Christians all over the world cling to. Our objective is to secure salvation.
No other belief supports the concept of salvation. There is Nirvana, but that is no more than the state of being free from suffering. in the Hindu religion it is a union with the supreme being through moksha. Moksha is the liberation from the suffering associated with repeated death and reincarnation. Buddhism practices the release approach or the freedom from the death / reincarnation cycle.
The Muslim religion, without getting into excessive details, does not have a belief in Jesus Christ; they depend solely upon God for their form of salvation. Yet, salvation depends upon the death of Jesus Christ on the cross. Therefore the two do not meet on that respect. There is no other way to the Muslim life reward, other than how they profess it must be reached. There is no other way to Nirvana other than practicing the theology that supports it. There can be no other way to salvation other than adhering to the structure of salvation.
When we ask a question such as "Is Jesus the only way to salvation?" we must understand what salvation means to begin with. Salvation is a central concept to the Christian religions. Without a belief in Jesus and his Father, God, there is no salvation. That is the Christian doctrine, there is no other theology that endorses salvation other than Christianity. This, mainly because, to support salvation one must have a belief in Jesus Christ as God's son.
Jesus Christ, God's son came to earth and at the end of his work died on the cross at Calvary in our place. He died so we would not have to perish. Jesus suffered in our place so by believing in him we could have salvation. Salvation is dependent upon a belief in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
With the term and the concept of salvation being so closely linked with Jesus Christ, No, there is no other way to gain salvation other than through the belief in Jesus.
There are many specific beliefs regarding actions and or attitudes that can lead to salvation; these can be regarded as ritualistic beliefs by nature. The one underlying belief one must foster, in order to be considered for salvation is that; salvation is made possible only through the work of Jesus Christ, the one true Son of God, dying on the cross.
In the question of "Is Jesus the only way to Salvation?" The only answer one can even contrive is a resounding Yes!
