The Armed Yeoman
Sung to the tune of 'Iron Man'
Yeoman, sword in hand,
Quit the plough to guard the land,
We are free men here,
United we've naught to fear.
The foe hither come,
Soon, they boast, the blood will run,
I say fight them here;
Meet them now with sword and spear.
They will give freedom,
To all who bow and worship them,
Free to bathe in blood,
Those traitors who join the flood.
Nought shall they find there;
They will end up as slaves,
They shall curse then,
That they did not join the fray.
They say they'll free you,
Free you from all you hold true;
Free you from your land;
They will turn it back to sand!
Free you from your fear,
Free to lose all you hold dear,
Family, friends and all,
Spurn their word and heed my call!
Nought shall they find here;
Nought but trouble and death,
.
Stand tall, men of steel,
We'll not live 'neath evils heel.
I'll fight and die here,
With sword in hand or else a spear.
Yeoman, sword in hand,
Quit the plough to guard the land,
We are free men here,
United we've naught to fear,
United we've naught to fear;
United we've naught to fear.
