Groomsman gifts vary from wedding to wedding but they all contain one simple thing, the desire to be both thoughtful and affordable gifts in the end. Some may have a theme to them and some may be individualized for the person who will be receiving them.  Costs as with most gifts will depend on the choices, the amount of items needed to be purchased (how many groomsman will you have) and if any engraving costs.

An obvious choice is engraved mugs or beer steins most men drink beer or coffee and these make more sense and can be quite affordable even with engraving if you shop around.  For example, there is a great selection on EBay many include free engraving and shipping with your purchase with limitations on engraving of course, but at least they are more cost effective.

Simple gifts such as an engraved money clip are trending and can be a handy item to have in a man’s pocket.  These also offer many engraving options to make the seemingly impersonal item more personalized.  The engraving on these can offer special messages or just name, date of event and the like with costs varying for the item with engraving in some cases included free.

Liquid flasks can be affordable groomsman gifts with engraving optional depending on the material you choose for the flask.  Flasks come in several types of materials on EBay and can be purchased in bulk for the bigger wedding parties with free engraving and shipping possible. 

A classic type of gift would be pocket watch something they may not use in everyday life but would be a keepsake that could be passed down for generations to come.  These could be engraved or not and in many cases, the engraving is included in the costs with bulk purchases of course possible.  Remember sometimes the most eccentric gift can be the more memorable and mean more to the gift recipient than a mug or flask not all men drink liquor and they often lose their coffee cup.

Another gift option could be something more personal for each groomsman for instance do they collect something? Like golf balls, model cars and the like which can mean so much more to them than what may seem impersonal item such as bulk gifts listed above.  Depending on the options, you choose in this area something as simple as for a car collector a keychain of their favorite car might just be the perfect gift idea.

Each gift idea can be as simple and cost effective as you want them to be depending on preferences, choices of items and what each person considers expensive, after all what one person can afford for gifts isn’t necessarily what another can afford to give as gifts.  Just keep your ideas simple, effective in conveying your gratitude and keeping in mind the gift is for a man.
