I am creating my destiny as I sit here and write
I choose to do this... be it day or night
I decided to choose this subject...
To hear destiny shout, ‘Really? To that I object ‘
Is it destiny? Some call it fate?
Would you still be my mate?
If I hadn’t walked down this street
Or wrote this smiled and been up beat!
Am I in charge or is it you
Do we all choose what we do?
Should I be a singer or even a nurse?
Should this end after this verse?
The path we walk
The way we talk
Our hopes our dreams
The big extremes...
If Indeed I hold my own destiny
Then only I can decide what will be
But In this world it seems not quite true
As all I say, think, or feel, , effects even YOU !

"Variables"
At forty-six, it all seems fixed;
This trail that I blaze
Should be straight and narrow,
Not a vast and twisting

I have worked so long
And so hard everyday
For everyone except myself
One gets tired
Of being the answer
To other peoples
My destiny,
Is not found written in pages,
My destiny exceeds the ages,
My destiny was foretold,
By an ancient Civilization,

Destiny is? A question unanswered.
Where to find it?
Choices to make.
Will You follow me?
What path will i choose?
I walk
I am creating my destiny as I sit here and write
I choose to do this... be it day or night
I decided to choose this subject...
