You took my breath away
When I came home that day
Leaving too much to see
You left it all on me
Didn't you?
I am a simple man
I was your biggest fan
Sitting beside you, dead
You got inside my head
Didn't you?
The pain broke down your fears
You'd carried all those years
So much for our romance
You took your only chance
Didn't you?
I raised her by myself
Poorly, without the wealth
mothers bring to their girls
You left for other worlds
