Men: the female species has been called everything from "confusing" to downright "impossible." The truth is women aren't that complicated. Of course, women fantasize about being treated like a queen, but what is misunderstood is that the key is subtlety. A little goes a long way with women because they are naturally more patient and mull over everything. Do something different and spontaneous. For those who still are confused about how this generates romance, I will give you a few examples.

Take Her for a Picnic
There's nothing more romantic than fresh air, wildflowers and a wicker basket filled with her favorite foods. You don't need an accordian player or candles to make this special. You just need to find a place, either at a park or by the beach, to take her. Although picnics seem like a cliche scenario in a romantic movie, it shows that you took the time to put together a meal and take her somewhere special. You will create a moment that she will cherish forever.

Pay Attention to Specific Details
When you go out, your woman will probably look at the front of a store or in the display case. She may not being looking at a full ensemble, but a particular item. Even if she doesn't say anything, she wants it, and you could be the man to give it to her for her birthday or Christmas. Paying attention to specific details is a challenge because it will come in off-handed comments like "My mother used to have a ring just like that," or "Wouldn't that look great in our house?"  Pay attention and you will be able to surprise her with a gift.

Tell Her How You Feel
So many times a woman wonders if a man loves her and what he would do for her. Females have the tendency to be insecure, although they would never vocalize it. At least once or twice a week, tell her how you feel. Tell her how much she means to you and how lost you would be without her. You may not be an emotional type of person, so telling her makes it that much more important.

Talk and Listen
The most romantic thing you can do is have a conversation. Turn off the TV, put away the video games and listen to her. Look her in the eyes and see what else you have in common. Take the time to talk about why she likes what she does and contribute to the conversation. The woman will appreciate you taking the time to get to know one another - and you will not lose that spark.
