Dog on a Bone
If you need a mate,
You must be like a dog on a bone,
If you’re an overprotective parent,
You must be like a dog on a bone,
If you’re living on a tight budget,
You must be like a dog on a bone,
We are no different really,
We are all like a dog on a bone.

As saliva glooped around the juicy bone
Bonnie was no good at doggy tackles
But
She sticks to the contest, though her ratings be falling
She can’t explain the lure; it’s the keyboard a calling.

Only wanting more control
Big government is coming to be
While "We The People" too
Tattered rags for his clothing
No shoes on his old feet
If a meal were to be offered
It’d be such a treat.....
