Creative ways to give theater tickets as a gift

There is no gift like the gift of a show. Be it the theater, the circus or a concert there is something about giving the gift of entertainment that just brings a big smile to everyone's face.  The thing is that the gift itself can be a bit bland. Tickets in an envelope just isn't sexy or fun, but they can be made that way!

First is to determine what the gift is for. Holiday, birthday, just because or romantic. Then choose a theme from there.  The theme of the gift should have something to do with the show itself or the occasion.  Sometimes these can over lap for example if the tickets are a Christmas present and the the show is a Christmas one.  Therefore slipping the tickets into a Christmas ornament that is a frame or can hold something works perfectly.

For a romantic twist the tickets can be tied to a single rose as tags, or on a bouquet of flowers.  The same can be done to a bottle of wine or Champagne.   For a little more of a challenge a box of chocolates can be purchased or made with the tickets slipped int the box as a pleasant surprise.  Many romantic gifts can be jazzed up with a ticket.

For Birthdays, balloons are always popular. The tickets can be tied to the string or if one is feeling adventurous they can be put into the balloons then the balloons blown up. The recipient then has to pop the balloons to gain the tickets.  Repurpose placement picks and put the tickets in those either on the table, plate or food itself.

Then there is the old standby. The Teddy Bear or stuffed animal. These little or even big darlings can be servers of a gift. The tickets can be in the stuffed animals paws, pockets, hat or bibs.  Always a adorable and easy to buy they make a great option especially with a child.  Live animals can be used, but as they are so very unpredictable that is one's own choice in taking that risk.

Of course, there are so many other ways to hide tickets, on or in someones pillow, placed-in the recipient's book in place of their bookmark and so many more. I know this was barely the tip of the iceberg and suggest everyone think out of the box, or envelope and have a little fun.
