The writing profession has many benefits not the least of which is writing articles.  Articles are meant to be a communication tool which every individual has a right to use for their own purpose.  It is part of our rights under the Constitution and includes free speech and freedom of the press.  Both these rights are important to our society and using articles to express our viewpoint on issues of the day is one of the many benefits of writing articles.

Articles are basically an information tool and using this tool we are able to communicate our thoughts to others who may feel the same way or even those that do not.  One unique thing about writing articles is you are not required to be a professional writer or journalist to write articles.  This is what the Constitution guarantees us under our rights of free speech and freedom of the press.  As writers we gain several things when we write articles.  One important thing if it is our desire to do so is we gain exposure for our points of view and in some cases our expertise for specific subjects.

Writing articles in the beginning is something for which we need to acquire a routine about when we write and the topics on which we choose to write.  The economic times we are in affects the income of writers but it does not affect the ability of writers to communicate.  When writers begin to write whether it is a book or articles they learn from each one they complete.  As we write articles the more we write we learn how to better communicate our thoughts through the words we write.  This is partly achieved through comments communicated to us from readers and in some cases other writers.  It is always great to receive recognition for the work we do as writers and coming from other writers, our peers, gives the recognition more importance.  It makes us feel good when someone appreciates our efforts. 

As a writer it is sometimes difficult for some to decide on the topics to choose and for others it is easy.  The language we use and the topics we choose for our articles can change lives when they are ones in which the public needs accurate information from which to make a decision.  This aspect involves the concept I often say one person can make a difference it is only a matter of the method we choose to do so.  One article by one writer can be an influence on others and without articles this is much harder to accomplish.  The tool of writing is a concept we as individuals need to utilize.  It does not matter if it is just for our families and friends or the public in general.  Articles help us to communicate our thoughts to others and communication is important in the business world.
