I remain quiet
When the moon is glowing bright-
Caught in your shadow.

Poetry: Caught in your shadow
by Matt Hartzog
With broken wings I fly for you,
and at times it seems so hard
With each passing moment it feels like I can't
by Jenifer Rose
I tried to be noticed
I just wanted to be heard
But everyone walked away
Like I never said a word
They all noticed you
You
I am caught in the shadow of your love
Where I am safe.
Our little cocoon
Shields us from the world,
From prying eyes of those
by Ted Onulak
I feel its heat
Not its light
As I push
My red wheelbarrow
Sweating beneath
An invisible sun
Only stop
To mop my brow
Caught in your shadow,
feeling alone,
knowing inside I can never go home.
Seeing your face,
avoiding your smile,
I was once yours
