She walks in sunshine all her days
Past greenery and floral sprays
As shadows flee.
Even summer showers defer
And let no raindrops fall on her
They let her be.
She is the stuff of nature’s bluff
Where mild and meek meets strong and tough
Her spirit free.
Not burdened by mortality
Floating on calm serenity
She smiles at me.

Garnet haze over my world

As colors of life around me swirled

A mother
May go into
Denial
