More than four decades passed
Since he left that place
But the memories are
Still etched on his face.
The nightmares still haunt him -
Fighting for his life
And waking up to find
That he’s punching his wife.
He’s easy to spot
He wears no disguise
You’ll know him by his
‘Nam veteran’s eyes.
