How to copy tapes into MP3s

Okay, so I'm putting myself in your place if in fact you don't know how. Being computer savy has nothing to do with doing other things that PCs enable us to do such as what the title suggests.

If you don't have it, go to MusicMatch.com and download the free version, or the "almost free" version as its very inexpensive. Maybe you already have it on your PC. Great! Just use the cables supplied with your MP3 player, or you can buy them. Just tell them what you want to do and they will help you.

If you have your musicmatch program and its open, go to options, and select recorder. Click on FORMAT, and choose MP3. Then click on QUALITY, and select preferably "CD" (depending of the quality of your tapes) or "near CD quality"
You'll need to select the INPUT SOURCE. This is where you have your MP3 player plugged into, usually "LINE" or "SYSTEM MIXER"

Check your recording volume etc, start your playback and press the record button on MusicMatch jukebox.

Other settings and features are all in the "help" section for you MMjukebox.
You may want to convert all your wave files to MP3 which your MMjukebox can do for you as well. It also allows you to convert the MP3's to "wave" as well.

If you make any mistakes, you can always erase the file and start over again.
Note, at one point or another, you may want to be able to edit MP3 files. If so you can download an inexpensive program that would allow you to do that as well.
