Chanel Vitalumiere is particularly popular in the Chanel range amongst those who go for the ‘dewy’ natural look.
The foundation is packaged just as well as the other Chanel foundations In a beautiful glossy bottle. The lid is glossy black with the Chanel logo on the top. To get the foundation out you use the dispenser pump which is usually a preferred way to get foundation out of the bottle as foundations with just a screw lid can often be tricky to get all of the foundation out.
The consistency of the product is ultra light, this makes the foundation very easy to blend. Due to it been so easy to blend it can be used with a foundation brush, sponge or just blending with fingers rather than just one method.
The coverage of the foundation is very light making it hard to cover up flaws you may have on the surface of your skin. However, this is does not have to be a bad thing. The foundation looks very natural due to this and if there is any flaws you can cover them up using a concealar so people who tend to use full coverage foundations do not necessarily need to rule this one out.
Chanel vitalumiere is a moisturising foundation, the majority of people who have dry skin will absolutely adore this foundation due to this. It doesn’t highlight dry areas like most foundation it instead hydrates and covers the areas making make-up look good no matter how dry your skin is. Also, if you don’t necessarily have dry skin but have ‘hangover’ skin this could be a great product to hide tiredness and dehydration as it an anti fatigue foundation.
Those who have oily skin or combination skin may have problems with this foundation because it is so dewy. After a few hours, the foundation does look greasy on the t zone of those who have oily skin. However, this should not put of those who do have oily skin as it takes just a few seconds to either blot the t zone or wipe the grease and apply more in this area.
The foundation has an SPF of 15. This is crucial for those who want to protect their skin. More and more articles are been written about the skin been damaged even in the cloudiest of days. So having an SPF in foundation is very useful.
The price of the Chanel Vitalumiere foundation is £33 ($53) for 30ml. This is fairly expensive for a foundation but it does last a lengthy time due to how well it blends so there is no need to apply a lot of the product. Also, the quality of the foundation is extremely good, looking at someones skin who is wearing this you can tell they are not wearing a ‘cheap’ foundation. It is very exquisite and has a beautiful satin glow.
This foundation is a wonderful product. It is exceptionally great at blending and giving dull skin a glow. It is a product I would definitely recommend to those who want to look naturally beautiful all day long.
