There's Just Me
Don't try to compare me to someone else;
There's not another quite the same.
There's just me.
Don't say I remind you of a girl you know;
I doubt we'd be very similar.
There's just me.
Don't pretend you have any idea
Of who I really am.
You've only just met me.
Don't label me;
Don't stereotype me;
Don't write me off as just another pretty face
Without much to say . . .
I'm just me.
