You can call yourself a Christian
Buddhist, Atheist or Jew
You may call yourself a Moslem
Jain, Agnostic or Hindu
You can say you're a believer
And that you have heard the call
And you speak of the Redeemer
And you say God loves us all


But believe me when I tell you
That I know just what you mean
For I have seen the roselight

You may say that there's an answer
And it's right before our eyes
You may sit there in your silence
And still be telling lies
You may speak for the Deceiver
Burnt and bitter to the core
You may think that you know better
