When the world is asleep, that's when they come
barging in on me. They interrupt my precious sleep.
Seems like deja vu; it's quarter to three; my 'witching
hour'; and that's when these late night thoughts come
to visit me. I toss and turn and often count maybe
hundreds of sheep.
What I'm going do without 'John'? Perhaps, I shouldn't
have broken off with him. At least, he would be some
sort of company. But, that's not enough if he doesn't
have your morals and values. Yea, he doesn't even like
my family. These late night thoughts keep gnawing me.
Maybe, I should take up a hobby and adopt a cute pet.
That should fill quite a huge gap.
I reckon I made a great choice. I love my adorable Cherry.
However, lately, she has become overly frisky. Maybe,
I should find her a partner. But, dear God, I have to get her
spayed. By golly, I can't afford a litter. I know it was a wise
decision to leave John. He wouldn't have liked Cherry or the
thought of a potential partner. These late night thoughts are
worth it once in in a while. Alas, I think I've solutions!
