Charleston, South Carolina is a charming old southern city that boasts deep history in our American culture and a warm southern hospitality to visitors from far and wide. Some guests who visit here may enjoy the atmosphere so much that they decide to call it home and start looking for the perfect house, and there is no better place to start than at the “Grand Oaks Plantation”.
This is a residential area located approximately ten miles from downtown Charleston, and is an area comprised of more than fourteen hundred homes in eleven separate neighborhoods with a common entrance from Bees Ferry road.
The neighborhoods consist of:
Autumn Chase & Magnolia Lakes
The Commons
Grove Park
Haddon Hall
Hamilton Grove
The Sanctuary
Moss Creek
Mt. Royall & Harrington Place
The Parks at Grand Oaks
Sienna
The homes set in amongst this lush green treed landscape and wildlife filled environment range in size from about twelve hundred square feet to well over twenty eight hundred square feet of living space per home. The prices range from the one hundred and fifties to over three hundred thousand dollars for a southern comfort style in estate living at its finest.
The entire area has an ole world charm about it, from the pedestrian friendly sidewalks down both sides of the streets, to the smiling neighbors you will meet jogging or walking down the street. There is also a new community facility named the “Bees Landing”, an eighteen thousand square foot recreation center, that is situated on twenty five acres and is host to three ball fields, six tennis courts, a dog park, a play ground and an indoor pool!
No wonder this area has been on the list of the fifty BEST places to live in the country. This area is more than buying a house; it offers you the soft side of living in a charming setting, with nature all around in the form of wildlife and grazing meadows alongside a fresh watering hole or creek.
Whatever the reason you choose to purchase a home at the “Grand Oaks Plantation”, it will be a decision well worth the investment made, for many years to come.
There are several different realtors in the local area that hold listings for homes in one of the many individual neighborhoods of the Grand Oaks Plantation. Each one will have a different house listed with the pertinent, most up to date information on the property itself and contact information for the listing agent on the desired property.
