It's all about money. Those that have it and control it, don't care about the rest of the country. Those that don't have it, feel powerless to do anything about it.
It's not that the American people can't do something, they just don't know where to start but it has come to the point that they know they are being used and duped and they are fed up with it and short of another Revolutionary War or massive secessions, there are things that can be done.
#1 Disban the Federal Reserve
The Fed has created printing money out of thin air an art. It is controlled by a handful of people that is not to the benefit of the American people. Gold needs to be the base again of our monetary system.
#2 Bring troops home
The billions being spent on undeclared wars in Libya, Iraq, Afghanistan in defense spending would be better spent in this country.
#3 American corporations back to America
Mandate corporations in foreign countries to come back to America to put our people back to work. Paying no taxes and paying for cheap labor is only benefiting the CEO's, not the employees. Our unemployment rate would drop significantly within a short time if companies came back to the U.S.
#4 Oil drilling
Begin drilling in one of the largest oil fields in the USA, "the Bakken". This oil field contains over 2 trillion barrels of oil. This would not only put people back to work but would stop importation of oil completely. Mandate the building of new refineries and update the 3 current refineries that are in sad disrepair. More jobs will be created from this venture.
#5 Keep government out of businesses
If a company can't remain in the black, let them file bankruptcy, No more bailouts by the federal government. This will promote better business decisions by the companies.
#6 State powers
The Constitution was not written so the Federal government was to control everything. It was designed for the individual states to control business, funding, passing laws for the people in the states and decisions to be made by the people in the states. Individual states need to be made responsible again.
#7 Congressional Powers
Congress has been given way too much power to mandate what is none of their business. Congress was given limited powers by the Constitution and it needs to revert back to those limited powers.
#8 Revamp welfare programs
Closer scrutiny on applicants for Chips, Food Stamps, unemployment and ADC needs to be done. Too many people are on these programs that don't need to be. Get a job! Minimum
