Teardrops echo like rainbows
Through a canyon.
A thousand thousand tears
Surrendered,
Pelting the thirsty earth and
Dying on the spot.
The loss, the sweat, the unearthly
Screaming
Follow the path of the everyday sun
Chased by the moon,
And we sit scratching paper heads
With charcoal sticks.

Poetry: Rainbows
by Roy Blokker
Teardrops echo like rainbows
Through a canyon.
A thousand thousand tears
When storm clouds gather, and
the chilling rain pours down;
and even the tallest and the strongest trees
stand, battered.
When
by Linda Irish
Given Time
Ever notice looking through a tear,
Light reflects a rainbow?
At desperate times, wonder still exists,
The sign of
Rainbows and rivers
Never to meet
Clouds of frustration
Lovers so
sweet
Sunshine mirrored
Reflections erased
Winds caressing the
Rainbow,
Gazing into the heaven
I see only your face
Longing for your touch
Held in an embrace
Colourful enchantments
Gentle
